This camp combines outdoor recreation with environmental learning, helping students understand how activities like hiking and fishing connect to the ecosystems of the Bitterroot Valley. Through hands-on experiences both in the field and classroom, campers will explore the relationships between recreation, wildlife, and habitat. Activities throughout the day include archery, fly fishing, hiking, swimming, and more. 6th-8th graders will get around the refuge using their own bikes.
