About the Program

The Teller volunteer program is looking for people like you. Join a dynamic group of people who care about conservation, and participate in activities that directly benefit fish and wildlife habitat in the Bitterroot Valley. Whether you want to work outside and get your hands dirty, help make our events a success, become a lead project volunteer, or assist with office administration, we have opportunities for your talents and skills!

Through participation, volunteers learn about and engage in conservation stewardship and education, are a valued member of the Teller volunteer team, and are vital to Teller’s mission success. We thank our volunteers for their support of our mission and invite you to get involved!

Noxious Weed Dig

May 16 | 8am-12pm

June 1 | 8am-12pm

Noxious weeds consistently pop up on Teller and require digging (breaking the roots). We have made great headway in the past couple years and need to maintain your efforts!

Fence Building & Debris Removal

June 29 | 8am-12pm

We have removed tons of debris and miles of abandoned fence from the Teller property. But, we still have several areas that contain debris and old barbed-wire fence that is hazardous to people and wildlife. We will be working on placing new posts and stringing new wire in certain areas. Volunteers will be directed to locations where clean up efforts will take place.
