From songbirds to raptors, this camp focuses on Montana’s feathered friends and their role in the diverse ecosystems of the Bitterroot Valley. Students will explore bird habitats, behavior, and adaptations through hands-on field and classroom activities designed to spark curiosity and observation. Daily activities include games, arts and crafts, trail exploration, and other interactive lessons that help campers connect with the environment around them. K-2nd graders will be transported around the refuge via truck pulled carriage.
