Students will dive into the terrestrial ecosystems of Montana and discover why these landscapes are so important to both people and the flora and fauna of the Bitterroot Valley. Through hands-on field and classroom experiences, campers will build connections to the environment around them while learning about habitats, wildlife, and ecological relationships. Each day includes games, hands-on lessons, arts and crafts, trail exploration, and more. K-2nd graders will be transported around the refuge via truck pulled carriage.
